Last Thursday, March 6, 2025, PPO Abogados reaffirmed its commitment to transparency by leading the signing of the “Commitment to Business Integrity,” an agreement between the private sector and the Vice Ministry of Institutional Transparency and the Fight Against Corruption. The main objective of this agreement is to create a strategic alliance between the public and private sectors to prevent corruption.
The signing event, held at the offices of PPO Abogados, brought together representatives of 12 private companies and Deputy Minister Susana Ríos Laguna. The initiative seeks to strengthen corruption prevention through training, business integrity measures and early warning mechanisms. These actions are aimed at ensuring that the activities of the companies comply with the law and to establish mechanisms for early warning and timely reporting of possible acts of corruption.
This agreement is part of the National Anti-Corruption Policy, promoting a more digitalized and transparent public management.
PPO Abogados continues to foster public-private partnerships to build a culture of integrity in Bolivia. This commitment reflects the joint effort of the public and private sectors to combat corruption. Collaboration between both sectors is essential to achieve a fairer and more transparent society.
