Fernanda IRIARTE

Within the corporate and regulatory sphere, Fernanda advises clients in the fintech, banking, technology, insurance, aeronautics, and telecommunications sectors, with a special focus on innovation, regulatory compliance, and the adoption of emerging technologies. She has provided legal advice to leading companies such as Nuevatel (VIVA) and Amaszonas, and has actively participated in working groups on regulations applicable to the telecommunications sector in Bolivia.

Fernanda is also a member of the Bolivian Blockchain Chamber, where she serves on the Legal, Regulatory, and Education Committees, and is part of the Crypto Girls community, promoting female inclusion in the crypto ecosystem. Her career combines practical experience in the private sector with a solid background in law, technology, and insurance, areas in which she also teaches and mentors.

Prior to joining the firm, Fernanda worked as a corporate lawyer at leading companies in the telecommunications and aeronautics sector, Nuevatel S.A. (VIVA) and Amaszonas. She was also part of the legal team at the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC), which allowed her to gain a solid understanding of the administrative and regulatory functioning of the public sector. More recently, she practiced as a corporate lawyer at an international firm, consolidating her experience in both in-house and external legal advisory roles.

Fernanda obtained her law degree with honors from the Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB). She also holds a Diploma in Insurance from the Bolivian Catholic University (UCB), a program endorsed by the Bolivian Association of Insurers (ABA). Her academic background is complemented by international courses in blockchain, digital assets, and ethics in fintech, taught by institutions such as Binance Academy, Coderhouse, and the University of Hong Kong.
