At PPO the confidentiality and privacy of the personal data of our clients, potential clients, collaborators, providers, and in general any person related with us, is fundamental for the provision of our services and respect for current legal normative and good practices for the protection of personal data.  The aim of the present Privacy Policy is to inform how your personal data will be used so you can freely determine if you wish to furnish them or not when these are requested.

What data we collect

When using our platforms, we may request you to furnish us the data that allow us to identify and contact natural persons, as well as legal persons and their representatives, administrators, or related persons, such as:

PPO does not control or verify the veracity of the information provided, therefore it is not responsible for any infractions derived from the illegality, inaccuracy, illegitimacy, alteration, misuse, fraud or sanction derived from the information.  Therefore a person that furnishes his/her personal data declares and warrants that these is his/her own, accurate and true information., that he/she has not used the identity of others and/or that these are not third party data.

Purpose of treatment

Your Personal Data will be used for the following purposes:

1. To respond to the requirements and consultations made through our platforms.
2. To improve the functionalities of our platforms.
3. To generate a database.

Marketing communications

With your authorization PPO may collect your data to contact you in the future and inform you about the activities that PPO carries out and that we believe could be of interest to you, including, without limitation, talks about current issues, conferences, newsletters, circulars, videos, events, coverage of institutional news.

Third parties with which we could share your information

We can share your Personal Data with third parties whenever this is necessary for the following:

1. With determined third parties that provide us services related to the operation of our platforms. For example, we can share your Personal Data with our service providers with the aim of performing certain functions in our name or to host our databases, companies such as Microsoft, Lemontech, Serinf.

In any case, the Personal Data will not be used by third party service providers for any purposes other than those they were engaged for.

1. To comply with applicable laws or regulations, judicial or administrative processes and/or requests from competent authorities.
2. To protect and defend PPO´s rights.
3. To comply with any order issued by a competent state entity, government agency or competent court.
4. For PPO´s auditing processes, with the auditors and their principals, always subject to a confidentiality obligation.
5. In case of sale, restructuring, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, with potential buyers, new partners, their agents or advisors under a confidentiality obligation.

International transfer of Personal Data

When Personal Data are shared with third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, the same can be transferred outside the Plurinational State of Bolivia, even to countries whose legislation does not offer an acceptable standard in terms of protection of personal data.  For Example Microsoft 365: Exchange hosted in South America – Sharepoint hosted in the USA – Teams: hosted in the USA, Lemontech hosted in the USA, MENTOR hosted in Virginia, USA.

In such case it is important that you take into account that by furnishing your Personal Data you are granting your consent for such transfer.

Cookies

PPO does not use cookies in the platforms, but it does use cookies from third parties through Google Analytics, Google Site Kit and Facebook Pixel.

Security of your data

PPO informs you that it has implemented the technical and organizational security measures to guarantee the security of your Personal Data and safeguard them from modifications, losses, treatments and/or unauthorized accesses, taking into account the state of the technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed, either as a consequence of human action or the physical or natural environment.

PPO can connect to other sites created and maintained by public and private organizations that can include or offer third party products or services, therefore it is not responsible for the security and privacy practices or the content of third party websites that are linked to our platforms.

By accessing these external sites, your will be subject to the privacy and security policies of the owners thereof, therefore we recommend that you read thoroughly said privacy and security policies.

Rights as the holder of personal data

You have the right to request and obtain information about which of your Personal Data are stored by PPO.  You also have the right to request the rectification, update, cancellation, objection and revocation of your Personal Data. Modifications to the present Privacy Notice

We can modify the present Privacy Policy at any time. In case significant changes are made, you will be notified through the publication of the modified Privacy Notice in our platforms with the corresponding date of the update.
