Adrian is a senior associate and is part of the tax team.
Within the tax field, Adrián participated in the elaboration of tax regulations, including the draft amendment of the Bolivian Tax Code, as well as in the revision and negotiation of framework agreements on cooperation and double taxation. He also advised national and international clients in merger, spin-off and execution of contracts with the Bolivian State.
Currently, he provides advice on the implementation of business models, tax planning, audit and challenge processes; as well as the application of double taxation agreements, for several leading companies in the country in the Telecommunications, Aeronautics, Technology, Sports, Food and Financial sectors, among others.
Prior to joining the firm, Adrián worked in public entities related to the tax field, such as the National Tax Service, the Tax Challenge Authority and the Vice Ministry of Tax Policy. He recently held the position of Legal and Tax Manager at Ernst & Young Bolivia.
Adrián obtained his law degree at the University of Aquino Bolivia and completed a Master’s Degree in Business Law at the Bolivian Private University. He also has diplomas in Tax Procedures from the Simón Bolívar Andean University, and Higher Education from the Royal University of the National Chamber of Commerce.
