Carol is part of PPO’s tax team and has successfully completed the firm’s Internship Programme and joined the firm as a trainee lawyer.
Within the firm, Carol is involved in assisting with tax and customs litigation in administrative, judicial and constitutional proceedings, as well as providing tax advice to domestic and international companies on applying tax regulations and tax planning strategies.
Before joining PPO, Carol was part of the Tax Department at Tufiño Zubieta Sociedad Civil, acquiring skills in regulatory analysis and application of tax and customs regulations; allowing her to develop an analytical and strategic approach, keeping constantly updated on developments related to the area and their impact on business.
Carol holds a law degree from the Universidad Católica Boliviana ‘San Pablo’, where she also participated in the creation of the Tax Studies Club. She also has a postgraduate degree in Corporate Legal Management and specialized courses in accounting and taxation for construction companies and tax prescription.
