Fernanda Aruni is an Associate at PPO Abogados, where she is a member of the Labour Law team. Her practice focuses on providing specialised legal advice to both national and international companies across a broad spectrum of labour-related matters. These include strategic counsel on employment relations, compliance with labour regulations, development of internal policies, occupational health and safety, and workplace investigations. Her work is particularly oriented towards anticipating and mitigating employment-related risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting clients in managing complex human resources challenges.
Prior to joining PPO, Fernanda began her legal career at the Departmental Court of Justice in La Paz, where she undertook internships in civil and commercial courts, as well as in administrative and contentious social law chambers. This experience afforded her a solid grounding in procedural law.
Fernanda earned her law degree from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés. She has completed the Commercial Arbitration Training Programme offered by the Centre for Conciliation and Arbitration of the National Chamber of Commerce, and undertook the Advanced Diploma in Commercial Arbitration at the Universidad Privada Boliviana. She also holds a Diploma in Higher Education and University Teaching from CEPIES-UMSA. At present, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Labour Law at the Universidad Católica Boliviana and a Diploma in Business Management at Northern International University.
