Sofía Olmos is an attorney at PPO Abogados, where she is part of the Regulatory team with a specialized focus on the hydrocarbon and energy sectors. Her practice primarily involves providing legal counsel and managing portfolios for both domestic and international clients engaged in the transportation, marketing, and distribution of hydrocarbons, as well as the management of controlled substances. She has successfully facilitated the registration and authorization of companies with public entities and EPNE companies, ensuring full compliance with the sector’s rigorous regulatory frameworks. Furthermore, she has led procedures related to the importation of raw materials, equipment, and other essential supplies for the industry, ensuring compliance at every stage.
Before joining PPO, Sofía launched her professional career at a well-established law firm, where she gained a strong foundation in administrative and regulatory law. This experience has equipped her with a practical and precise approach, allowing her to handle complex matters with a comprehensive perspective.
Sofía holds a law degree from the Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo,” where she was also an active member of the Student University Committee. Additionally, she holds a postgraduate degree in Labor Law and Human Resources Management, as well as specialized courses in Administrative Law.
