Vicente Guevara is an associate and member of PPO’s corporate and finance team.
He has experience advising local and international companies in a wide range of industries on matters ranging from day-to-day corporate advice to the execution of due-diligence and contract review processes in the context of implementing corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset transfers, joint venture structuring and general business restructuring.
His practice also includes advising on commercial matters, such as distribution, agency, licensing, and franchise agreements, among others.
His experience includes advising on finance matters, having advised lenders and borrowers with respect to matters related to cross-border project finance and acquisitions, including the preparation of legal memoranda, legal opinions, review and drafting of loan agreements and the implementation of local guarantees to secure transactions.
In addition, his practice is reinforced by the constant advice provided to foreign companies in the mining industry that are currently operating or seeking to conduct operations in Bolivia.
Vicente’s previous legal experience in other legal fields along with his ability to assist his clients in Spanish, English and French, added to a background in Film Studies from Université de Montréal, make him a well-rounded professional.
Vicente completed his law studies at Universidad Privada Boliviana in 2020 and holds a Certificate in Mining Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
