Bolivia, August 2024:<\/strong> For the third consecutive year, the firm PPO Abogados (PPO)<\/strong> sponsored and hosted the GC Powerlist: Bolivia 2024<\/strong>, an event by the prestigious British directory THE LEGAL 500<\/strong>, which aims to recognize the performance of the most notable General Counsels (GCs) in Bolivia and emphasize the role they fulfill in their companies.<\/p>

THE LEGAL 500<\/strong>, whose representatives traveled from London to attend the event, has recognized numerous General Counsels globally through the \u201cGC Powerlist,\u201d<\/strong> providing a special platform for them to access networking opportunities with each other and with other GCs from the region and the around the world.<\/p>

In this version, the GC Powerlist: Bolivia<\/strong> honored over 100 General Counsels, the most prominent in the country, after a rigorous evaluation of their reputation in Bolivia, who provided in-house legal advice to companies operating in various industries.<\/p>

At the highly anticipated event, Lindsay Sykes<\/strong>, recently appointed Managing Partner at PPO<\/strong>, was also introduced, along with Jos\u00e9 Luis Tufi\u00f1o<\/strong>, who joined PPO\u2019s<\/strong> tax practice as a partner.<\/p>

Sykes<\/strong>, who currently leads the International Compliance and Arbitration practices at PPO<\/strong>, becomes the first woman to be appointed Managing Partner at the country\u2019s largest law firm, both in terms of the number of lawyers and its extensive geographical footprint.<\/p>
