The initiative brought together authorities, industry leaders and investors to present investment opportunities in Bolivia’s mining sector.
Bolivia participated in the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) 2026, the world’s leading mining convention held in Toronto, Canada. As part of the event, “Bolivia Day” brought together authorities, industry representatives, and investors to showcase Bolivia’s mining potential and strengthen the country’s presence within the global mining investment ecosystem.
The Bolivia Day initiative was promoted by PPO Indacochea, with the objective of fostering dialogue among public authorities, companies, and investors, while highlighting the opportunities offered by Bolivia’s mining sector in the international context.
During the convention, the Bolivian delegation —led by the Ministry of Mining and Metallurgy— carried out a strategic agenda that included meetings with representatives of mining companies, investors, and other key stakeholders in the industry. In addition, projects with investment potential were presented, and opportunities related to the development of new mining projects and the promotion of responsible and competitive mining were highlighted.
Representing PPO Indacochea, partners Mattias Garrón and Pablo Ordóñez participated in the activities held during PDAC 2026, supporting initiatives aimed at positioning Bolivia within the global conversation on mining investment and development.
Bolivia’s participation in the convention also included the inauguration of the country’s stand and a series of meetings with companies and investors interested in learning more about the potential of Bolivia’s mining sector. According to information released by the Ministry of Mining and Metallurgy, these meetings contributed to advancing the promotion of strategic projects and strengthening international interest in the development of the country’s mining industry.
The PDAC convention brings together thousands of representatives from the global mining industry each year, including mining companies, investment funds, financial institutions, technology providers, and government authorities. The event has established itself as one of the leading international platforms for promoting investment and developing strategic partnerships in the mining sector.
