Britta Miranda is part of the Regulatory Law team of PPO Abogados.

She provides advice and legal defense in administrative, regulatory and corporate matters to various commercial companies operating in Bolivia. Her strong, strategic and results-oriented approach has positioned her as a key professional in the resolution of complex legal issues in regulated sectors.

Throughout her career, Britta has held positions of high responsibility in public entities, including management functions, legal advice and regulatory leadership in different state portfolios, regulatory authorities, as well as in autonomous territorial entities. Her experience includes the comprehensive management of administrative processes of control and sanction, state contracting of goods and services, regulatory procedures for obtaining rights and licenses, as well as the supervision of quality in the provision of public services and the use of public domain goods in the sectors of electricity, nuclear technology and telecommunications.

Her work as Legal Director at the Electricity and Nuclear Technology Authority – AETN; Head of the Normative Development Unit in the Ministry of Productive Development and Plural Economy and in the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Energy; as well as strategic advisor in entities such as Insumos Bolivia and the Central Bank of Bolivia. She has also worked as an associate lawyer in a renowned law firm.

She has actively participated in the drafting, development and defense of projects of Supreme Decrees and laws aimed at strengthening the energy and nuclear technology sectors. It has also contributed to the elaboration of sectoral regulations aimed at promoting productive development – in its different scales -, internal trade, industrialization and tourism.

Britta is a lawyer graduated from La Salle Bolivia University. She has postgraduate degrees in Administrative and Regulatory Law, as well as in Higher Education. She has a Master’s Degree in Management and Public Policies from the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo” and is currently a candidate for the Master’s Degree in Strategic Management of Hydrocarbons and Electricity at the Simón Bolívar Andean University.
