Guadalupe has extensive experience in the field of intellectual property, particularly in industrial property, with a focus on trademarks and patents. Throughout her career, she has managed portfolios of both domestic and international clients, providing advice on trademark registration, renewal, and modification processes, including name changes, mergers, transfers, and address updates. She also has experience in the registration and renewal of domain names and in comprehensive patent management.
Guadalupe has advised clients such as Apple Inc., Millicom International Cellular S.A., La Cascada S.A., Droguería Inti S.A., Industrias Alimenticias Cabrera S.A., Kuhlmann & Cia. Ltda., and others.
His practice includes comprehensive legal counsel throughout all stages of intellectual property protection, as well as handling oppositions to trademark registration applications, cancellation actions, invalidity proceedings, claims of ownership, and infringement cases. He also assists his clients in administrative proceedings before the National Intellectual Property Office (SENAPI), including the filing and monitoring of revocation and hierarchical appeals, from the filing of complaints through to the conclusion of the proceedings.
Guadalupe worked for thirteen years at ORPAN, a firm that was merged into and became part of PPO Indacochea.
Guadalupe earned her law degree from the Bolivian Catholic University “San Pablo” in 2010. She subsequently completed several specialized programs, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property in the Business Sector (2018) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Administrative Law and Procedure (2019), both from the Royal University of the National Chamber of Commerce. She also holds a Diploma in Criminal Procedural Law from the La Paz Bar Association (ICALP) and a Diploma in Higher Education and University Teaching from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA, 2016).
