In the field of financial auditing, Luis Alberto has more than 15 years of experience advising national companies and international economic groups on external audits, financial reviews, tax reviews, due diligence, and the implementation of internal controls.
He has led financial and tax audit planning and execution processes, applying a risk-oriented audit approach. He has extensive experience in the interpretation and practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with an emphasis on identifying critical disclosures and assessing their impact on financial statements. He also has solid knowledge of Bolivian tax regulations, which allows him to provide a comprehensive approach to his accounting and tax reviews.
Throughout his career, he has worked with clients from various sectors, including Terbol S.A., Louis Dreyfus Company, Quimfa Bolivia, Enerflex Services Bolivia, Exterran Bolivia, Graña & Montero, Agroindustrias Bunge, Biogenesis Bagó, Spiecapag, Saexploration, Zermat, Grupo Ribepar, Casa Color, Serpetrol, and Clínica Niño Jesús, among others, contributing to the strengthening of their financial and regulatory compliance processes.
Prior to joining PPO Indacochea, Luis Alberto developed his professional career at Team Business S.R.L., where he held various positions within the audit department until reaching the position of Senior Auditor. From that position, he led teams in external audits, special reviews, and tax compliance reports for companies in various sectors.
Previously, he worked at Duffry Bolivia and Grupo Ribepar, where he gained experience in accounting processes and financial information migration to ERP systems, strengthening his expertise in financial operations.
Luis Alberto obtained his degree in Financial Auditing from the University of Aquino Bolivia (UDABOL) and holds a master’s degree in Tax Management from the Gabriel René Moreno University. He also has international certifications in International Auditing Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
