PPO started in 2011, when a group of lawyers with international experience decided to return to Bolivia to offer commercially friendly legal services with international standards to the Bolivian market, a change from the status-quo of traditional and family-run law.

Our approach was simple: we wanted to focus on our clients by meeting their needs and excelling while doing so.

In doing this, we wanted our clients to feel that they had an ally in our firm, a strategic partner who considered their challenges as our own. And that we would strive to meet those challenges by communicating sophisticated - yet real - solutions and strategies in accessible language, with experience and business acumen.

Institutionally, we envision a firm focused on recruiting, training, and retaining the most talented lawyers and professionals in Bolivia to operate through an inclusive and merit-based platform, regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, or origin.

Back then, our competitors considered us disruptive and rebellious for implementing a different new model of legal services in Bolivia. The client market reacted favorably, however, resulting in an extraordinary innovative disruption in the legal market, forever changing the way Bolivian lawyers and firms organize and advise clients.

As a consequence of this disruption, in 2021 our firm absorbed Orpan, the leading intellectual property law firm, which added more than 65 years of interrupted experience to our firm.
