Alexia Paravicini is an associate at PPO and she is part of the Corporate Law Team.
Her practice focuses on providing corporate commercial counseling to local and international clients so as to ensure compliance with Bolivia’s commercial normative. Alexia has experience providing counseling to different sectors such as: food and beverages, aeronautics, mining, transportation and logistics, foreign trade, immigration, labor, among other corporate issues, the application of good governance and commercial practices in general, as well as the incorporation, adjustment and the provision of ongoing counseling to non-profit civil entities at the departmental and national level. Concurrently, she actively participates in legal audits, resolution of corporate conflicts, restructurings, foreign investment, closing operations, dissolutions and liquidations. She has also acquired experience in Due Diligence and Compliance processes.
She graduated from Law School “Magna Cum Laude” with Excellence, and a mention in Corporate Law conferred by Universidad Privada Boliviana de La Paz in 2010. She earned a Diploma in Arbitration, Conciliation and Negotiation at Universidad Real de la Cámara Nacional de Comercio, as well as a Diploma in Higher Education at Universidad Mayor de San Andrés.
Alexia specializes in Commercial Law, and has a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law conferred by Universidad Privada Boliviana.
Prior to her incorporation to PPO, she worked as an Associate at Quintanilla, Soria & Nishizawa and Aguirre Sociedad Civil, as well as at the Ministry of the Presidency of the Bolivian State, as a Professional in Juridical Analysis at the Technical Office to Strengthen Public Companies, which was in charge of strengthening public companies at the State’s central level.
