Danica Yaksic is an associate at PPO and a member of the Corporate & Commercial group.
Her practice focuses on comprehensive advice to local and foreign companies in a broad variety of industries. Her participation ranges from general corporate matters to complex transactions for transfer of corporate stakes, transformations, liquidations, and demergers. She also has broad experience in commercial matters and habitually supports clients on the drafting and negotiation of contracts. In parallel, Danica has broad experience advising nonprofit organizations and foundations on their operations in Bolivia.
Before joining PPO, she worked for a prestigious corporate law firm, where she focused her abilities on review and analysis of general commercial contracts.
Danica graduated as a Lawyer from the Universidad Privada Boliviana of Cochabamba (UPB) and obtained a Master’s Degree in Commercial and Business Law from the Universidad de San Simón in Cochabamba. Currently, he is an arbitrator and conciliator of the ICAM in Cochabamba and diplomatic representative of the Republic of Ecuador in Cochabamba Bolivia as honorary consul.
Danica is a founding member and current director of the Board of Directors of the CÁMARA DE MUJERES EMPRESARIAS – CAMEBOL COCHABAMBA. In the academic field, she is a professor with 4 years of experience, specialized in the subject of Business Law Introduction. Currently, he teaches at the Universidad Privada Boliviana.
