Labour lawyer with considerable recognition in Bolivia, he has more than 18 years of professional experience in the field of labour law, during which time he developed his professional activities in the: i) public sector, in which he held important positions in the Ministry of Labour, he was a member of various government commissions, including those for analysis and regulatory development, and represented the portfolio of the Ministry of Labour before the Andean Community of Nations – CAN.; and ii) in the private sector, as an external labour advisor to high-profile companies in the mining, oil and gas, telecommunications, sales, pharmaceutical, construction, and service industries.

He specializes and has solid experience in: i) legal advice on labour issues in general; ii) prevention and resolution of individual and collective labour disputes; iii) collective bargaining, conciliation and labour arbitration; iv) administrative processes of labour issues in general and job reinstatements; v) prevention and management of conflicts related to workplace and sexual harassment; vi) labour dismissal processes; vii) organizational restructuring; and viii) training processes on labour rights for human resources units.

In the 2021, 2022 and 2023 rankings, he was recognized as a Star Associate by “Chambers” and a “Rising Star” by “Legal 500”: Academically: i) he has postgraduate studies in labour law at the diploma level; ii) he completed a master’s degree in labour law; iii) he develops cycles of free webinars on labour matters; and iv) published opinion articles on topics of current interest in labour law.
